NFL Greed

Today's topic is about the greed between the NFL, and the players association. Let's face facts these are grown men playing a game for millions and millions of dollars all to which there salaries are paid by the loyal fans to whom have made the NFL what it is today. Now by no means am I saying that the players shouldn't make a fair salary for playing such a violent game in which they risk serious injury, but between the players, and owners to whom hold the fan hostage by allowing this impasse to get to this point is absurd when you consider that they are fighting over 9 billion dollars now I don't know about you; but 9 billion dollars is more money then you & I the average fan would ever make in our lifetimes so in hindsight what the players, and owners fail to realize is this: That we the fans are the ones to whom have not only supported this fantastic game; but have been a major part of contirubting to that 9 billions dollars to which they have amassed. Meantime in all of this mess is the retired players to whom played the game, suffered some serious injuries to which some need serious medical help to just get around, and for a large part most of these former players have no money to live off which to me is a real travcesty when you sit down and think about it. In my opinion I really think that the owners & the players need to get together, stop this bickering and lawsuits and hammer out a deal before it causes serious damage to their product that has taken them years to build or they will risk losing the average fan to whom they depend upon to support their product so that they can make the billions to which they have made already.
